Field of Dreams

Monday, January 28th, 2013

On the way to meeting with this beautiful senior for her photo shoot, I noticed a cotton field on the side of the road and thought “what a perfect spot.” I completely forgot to mention it to her and we finished the session at the determined location, see post.  So, I called her on the way home and she happily agreed to meet me there, for just a few more. I just love spontaneous moments and people, especially when they work out. This is by far one of my favorite  stops.

A New Beginning

Saturday, December 31st, 2011

What an exciting way to start the new year. A sweet baby boy and a new family. I love the new year, it is just like a baby…full of hope, love, wonder and excitement. This little guy was too sweet and is just a bundle of cuteness.

Desert Beauty

Thursday, November 17th, 2011

A little rain and clouds for the thirsty desert, a great day for a photo shoot. Enjoy a few shots of this desert rose, so sweet and pretty, just waiting for this day to come.

Two Weeks of Sweetness

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

This little sweet guy is a precious blessing.  Wishing your family many mornings of sunshine on the cradle!

“If one feels the love for something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go no far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shine on its cradle.”  Vincent van Gogh

IT IS ALL ABOUT THE DRESS

Friday, June 10th, 2011

Another look into the beautiful wedding day of Matt and Danielle.  Of all the details in a wedding, the most significant and much anticipated is the wedding dress!

A Baby is Born

This little one almost lost it’s little bird life as my husband was thinning out a tree in our backyard.  The branch would never have been cut if we had seen the nest.  It must be scary as your home crashes to the ground. Luckily, my husband caught the little bird’s eyes with his as he picked up the fallen branch to throw away.  We placed the branch up high on a table and watched for many days. She never left the nest and the beautiful thing was as another bird came back (I am guessing the “he”), he kept circling where the branch used to be for quite sometime. Buzzing all around. Finally, he found his partner and chirped away.  We never got to see the eggs hatch as one morning they packed up and found a better suited home, most likely in a tree in a different yard.
